M/V BAVENIT

M/V "Bavenit"

M/V Bavenit is an ice-class vessel (P-2790 project). At present she is one of the best-equipped vessels for geotechnical drilling in the world. M/V Bavenit allows geotechnical drilling and sampling with drilling depth to 300 m at sea depth 2,000 m more, as well as soil testing with penetration depth to 40 m at sea depth within 3,000 m. The vessel is provided with the moonpool 4.5×4.5 m in her middle part, the derrick, and the DP system SDP-21 to keep the vessel at the designated position or her moving with given parameters in process of various geotechnical operations.
